What is cache?
In the World Wide Web, cache is a location, or locations, where web pages or other elements are stored in memory so they can be retrieved quickly.
The cache can prevent website updates from loading properly, cause sign in issues or other memory related problems. Developers should clear the backend cache of a website after every update. The WordPress platform and server cache will typically be cleared with plugins designed for this purpose. Server cache may need to be cleared as well, this process is controlled by the hosting company and usually completed by the website developer.
If you visit a website frequently you may find it necessary to clear the browser cache to insure you are viewing the updated version of the site. Refer to your browsers help menu to understand the correct method for clearing the cache.
